//20 Refrigerated Display Cabinets per Shiftwork on 500 sq.m is New Hitline’s Experiment

Experience gained by the company over the years of work in the field of refrigeration equipment, and smart use of resources have allowed us to successfully conduct a unique experiment.

To implement the idea that arose on December 1, 2018, we allocated premises for a self-contained workshop, collected inactive equipment at the factory, which served us for 10-12 years, and set up small-scale production from scratch. Already in a month, on January 4, 2019, the factory produced first refrigerated display cabinets.

The workshop with a total area of 500 square meters comprises the sections of metalworking, casting, painting and assembly of products.

The staff consists of 11 persons only. They set the necessary equipment settings to manufacture parts, monitor the accuracy of the production cycles, and carry out assembly of products.

In the course of the experiment we have been convinced that that workshop with a minimum number of supervisory personnel is able to produce high-quality refrigerated cabinets in a short time.

As a result, the goal – to produce refrigeration equipment from scratch in a small area by a minimum costs and labor – was achieved.

The result has exceeded even the most daring expectations. The workshop while occupying only 2.5% of the factory’s territory can produce 20 pieces of refrigeration equipment per day during one work shift.

By excluding the small-scale production and standard products to be in a low-cost segment from general production, we will be able to spend more time to realize individual retail solutions.
